How to Create Binaural Beats for Relaxation and Concentration
Ever wondered how those hour-long meditation, relaxation, or concentration tracks online are made? You don’t need special hardware or a studio to create one! You can generate your own binaural audio from scratch in NeonWaves.
Here’s how to do it step by step, or you can also watch this video here:
What Is Binaural Audio?
Binaural audio is created by playing two slightly different frequencies in each ear, which many people use for meditation, relaxation, focus, and sleep tracks. It’s the same type of audio behind most of the long-form meditation and concentration tracks you’ll find online.
How to Generate Binaural Audio:
- Open NeonWaves and go to Generate.
- Select Wave (Binaural).
- Start with one of the available presets, or adjust the settings manually to create your own sound.
- Click Preview to listen to the result before generating anything.
- Set the duration (a quick 10-minute relaxation track, or a full one-hour track like the long meditation and concentration audios you see online).
- Once everything sounds the way you want, click Generate.
Your new binaural track appears directly in NeonWaves, ready for further editing.
Customize Your Track Before You Generate
The Wave (Binaural) generator gives you two ways to work:
- Presets: a fast starting point if you want a ready-made binaural sound without adjusting settings yourself.
- Manual settings: full control over the sound if you’re aiming for a specific frequency or effect.
Use Preview as often as you need before committing. This lets you fine-tune the sound without generating and discarding multiple full-length tracks!
Editing After You Generate
Once your binaural track is generated, it appears directly in NeonWaves as an editable file. From there, you can:
There’s no need to export the track and reopen it elsewhere, the entire process, from generating to finishing touches, stays in one app.
Saving and Exporting Your Track
Once you’re happy with the result, simply save or export your finished track, ready to use for meditation, relaxation, concentration, or any other purpose you created it for!
